A structured, short-term counselling program designed to help children build emotional skills, improve behaviour, and feel more confident navigating everyday challenges.
This program provides focused, goal-oriented support with clear direction and follow-up, making it an ideal starting point for many families.
Parents complete an intake and brief screening questionnaires to help us understand your child’s needs.
You’ll meet with a psychologist to review concerns and develop a focused plan for brief therapy.
Your child attends five sessions (typically weekly) with a therapist, supervised by a psychologist, focusing on building skills and addressing concerns.
After the sessions, parents complete follow-up questionnaires. The psychologist reviews progress and provides a brief summary report with recommendations.
A final session is held with the parent to review progress, discuss next steps, and support ongoing care at home or with other providers.
Payment is completed per session. Extended health benefits may apply depending on your coverage.
This program is designed as a brief, focused intervention to support emotional and behavioural concerns. It is not intended as a comprehensive psychological assessment or for diagnostic purposes.
