This can be clarified for you after an initial consultation at our clinic. The therapist/psychologist conducting your first appointment will give you recommendations of what assessment or service to pursue based on your background, concerns, and goals.
Unfortunately, OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan), does not cover psychological services for Ontario residents at this time. Extended health benefits, including private insurance, can often pay a full or partial portion of select mental health services.
Our staff does not have access to your personal insurance plan and so we cannot answer specific questions about how much coverage your plan includes or what it covers. If you do have questions, please contact your insurance company for your policy details. Our administrative staff will do their best to answer any other insurance-related questions.
